Meet The Founding Team

Pam Haering

Executive Director

Pam brings to EdAccess her experience as a marketing consultant, passion for education equity, and her deep interest in environmental conservation. She has served as a brand strategist at top global ad agencies, the VP of International Ad Sales Marketing at Time Warner Turner, and division creator and leader as an SVP at CBS and Viacom. Pam’s 15 years of non-profit board work has focused on creating educational access for students globally, improving student mental health outcomes and supporting environmental conservation through marketing and development advisory work with the CA Nature Conservancy and Tomkins Conservation.

Yefei Jin

Senior Project Architect

Dr. Yefei Jin, Co-Founder, and Senior Project Architect. Yefei Jin has spent his career supporting mission-driven, nonprofit organizations, from start-ups to institutions of higher learning. Yefei and Pam met and recognized their shared passion for education equity while both attending graduate programs at Harvard. After completing his doctorate in Organizational Leadership from HGSE, Yefei has combined his technical experience and Change Management skills to lead teams across innovative, change-driven environments. He is currently building transformative technology in the Education Sector and is the lead architect on the EdAccess Lab project.

Karin Beecher

Deputy Director

Karin comes to EdAccess after a career as an operational and strategy consultant in higher education. At PricewaterhouseCoopers and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, she led initiatives with education and nonprofit organizations to address challenges ranging from business process inefficiency to strategic operational decisions. Through the course of her work, Karin developed a keen interest in the issues around college access and persistence for low-income, underrepresented students. She holds a master’s degree in education from Harvard University and was a Fellow at the Massachusetts Alliance for Early College. She looks forward to blending her consulting and college access work at EdAccess.
